Widening of Road adjoing Nallah
Road adjoining Nallah was widen after covering of Nallah which is the only in Lajpat Nagar-3 & people of other part of Lajpat Nagar-3 didn't able to do, instead of congesition.

  Our one of the main entry from Ring road along the Nallah which connect our colony to Lajpat Nagar-1,2 & Central Market was very narrow. Due to heavy traffic our residents were facing lot of difficulties in our own colony. After the coverage of Nallah we saw a ray hope that we can decongest this point by widening of the road because there was a gap between newly developed park & the existing road.

In the meantime new master plan of Delhi notified. Which has considered our objections (see letters in the other letters section) raised before the finalizing of Master Plan 2021 by our Association. In this Master Plan 2021, our this congested road was included in new category of roads " URBAN RELIEF ROADS" . So we approached the MCD to widen this road. But a few of our residents objected. But for the welfare of our colony, Chief Engineer & Executive Engineer MCD visited on the spot & in the presence of some residents of G & K block residents, matter was decided to widen this road which was necessary for the colony.

In the meantime MCD Commissioner Sh.K.S.Mehra visited our Community Centre & our residents who were against widening of road met him . The Commissioner ordered not to widen this road. This decision was told to me by Executive Engineer Project-1. Then I wrote to MCD Commissioner regarding his decision that how he can take this decision by ignoring Master Plan 2021 & the local RWA. After the receiving of my letter, he ordered to widen this road & ultimately we got more space for our residents & we solved the congestion for the future generations.
